Check out the Miami Herald's review of our recent concert Story of a Soldier here.

The other big news is that Univision network will be airing an international TV special on our concert this Tuesday, March 18th at 10pm. Check your listings for the Univision channel and tune in!

This concert was very special for everyone involved, and we all had a blast. We hope that the audience enjoyed it as much as we have, and we're planning to perform this concert again very soon! So...keep your eyes on the blog for the latest!

Palm Beach Post Blog and Thanks

Hi all,

Greg Stepanich from the Palm Beach Post has written a nice blog entry on the concert here.
A story in the print version of the Palm Beach Post is scheduled for the end of the week!

Also, we would like to acknowledge several individuals and organizations that have contributed financially to help make this concert possible. Without them, we would simply not be able to bring this exciting concert to the people of South Florida.

Miami-Dade Cultural Affairs
State of Florida Cultural Affairs
Audrey Love Charitable Foundation
Josephine B. Adams Charitable Fund
Randy Gage

Thank you! We also have literally dozens of individuals to thank for their encouragement, in-kind assistance, and belief in our exciting collaboration with Ground Up and Rising. Thank you to everyone who is helping us to further our mission!

Can't wait to see you, and a packed house this weekend!

Steve

Copernicus Gears up for March Concert

There's been a lot happening since our last post, and there have been some very exciting developments on several fronts. First, we are extremely pleased to announce that Greg Stepanich from the Palm Beach Post named our last concert #4 on his "Top 10 of 2007" for Classical Music Performances. You can read about it here.

Secondly, we can't be more excited about our upcoming concert series in March. It's just not possible. Copernicus will be collaborating with the hottest theater group in Miami- Ground Up and Rising, and you won't want to miss the excellence and creativity that they are going to bring to this performance. March 8, at 8pm, we will be presenting "Story of a Soldier" at Arts at St. Johns on Miami Beach (ticket information here). March 9, the concert will be performed in Delray Beach, venue TBA. We have an unbelievable group of young performers slated to perform, and we can't wait to present this great program to Miami. Much more to come soon!
